Possession of Cocaine and Possession of a Firearm (Felonies) Dismissed

Previously, my client's DUI (2nd offense) and refusal to take the breathalyzer charges were dismissed. You can read about that win here. 31 Misdemeanors Avoided in 10 Days (Including a DUI 1st Offense, DUI 2nd Offense, Eluding, Possession of Marijuana, Driving Under Suspended, No Operator’s License Charge, and 25 Reckless Driving Charges.)

Below are a sampling of case results for the month of May. There were 31 misdemeanors avoided by my clients in the 10 work days between May 1 and May 14.  The misdemeanors avoided include: DUI 1st offense, DUI 2nd offense, eluding, possession of marijuana, driving under suspended license, no operator's license, and 25 reckless driving charges. Despite having 24 traffic cases continued due to weather-related court closures at the end of February, we managed to squeak in dismissals in Williamsburg, Accomack, Chesapeake, Newport News, and Portsmouth. Williamsburg Reckless Driving (95/70) Null Prossed!

My clients have received good outcomes in Virginia Beach General District Court this past week. Northampton Reckless Driving (90/55) Reduced to Speeding

I was pleased with my recent case results in Northampton, Virginia.  One case involved a reckless driving by speed case at 90 mph in a 55 mph zone, in Northampton County, which was reduced to a speeding infraction.  The other case involved an accident case where the other driver passed away as a result of the accident.  In that case, my client got minimal jail time, even though there was a fatality.
